Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are a great way to quickly clean up messes. The top robot vacuums and mops I tested had excellent mapping and navigation. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, well as tangled wires.
They're also user-friendly using an app that lets you schedule cleaning tasks and track what they're doing.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combo. It has the latest features. This high-end vacuum is fast and agile and picked up pet hair and human dander almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface that includes an interactive map of your home, as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology enables it to alter the cleaning mode according to the level of dirt. It will clean its mopping pads more often when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get the first priority when mopping with a damp mopping pad.
It comes with a range of other smart features too, including an alternative dock that connects to your home plumbing to wash and clean the mop roller without needing you to manually refill it. You can also use voice commands with the S8's built-in voice assistant, saying "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular control options with your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those seeking an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free with mopping capabilities. It's one of many combo robot vacuums with mops that are also offered at a lower price than other models.
Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to begin, which includes creating an account on the official app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, however, the robot can start vacuuming and mopping with ease.
It is important to remember that the mapping process may take some time and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has an accurate picture of your room. Additionally the detection of objects can be unpredictable and it was able to get around furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a looser tassel and had to flip it over to get free. However, these aren't major issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those who want an all-in-one cleaning companion.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbing. This results in floors being cleaned, not just being swept. The detachable vacuum stick is an absolute game changer that can reach places even a robot vacuum cannot.
This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and some additional intelligent features. The upgraded RGBD sensor is able to learn your home's layout better and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The app's smart feature allows you to modify a range of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum as well as the mop returning to their charging station after each task to clean their pads and empty their dust bins, and then place the debris in the self-sealing bags. This keeps the system clean and prevents allergens recirculating. Its battery life is sufficient to remove large areas without the need for a charge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a high-end robot vacuum and mop model that comes with impressive features at an affordable price. It has an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets and a great obstacle avoidance. It also features a unique mopping method which uses a rolling device that is continuously sprayed with water to collect dirt, and then dump it in the water tank.
Its navigation technology was effective in navigating close to walls without falling and avoiding stairs. It struggled with small particles and did not always clear the thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also relatively high, so it may be less of a "set-and-forget" model than others.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with docking systems that allow it to replenish its clean water, empty the dust bin, dry and wash the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to an established schedule. You can manage all of its functions through the Eufy app, which gives an easy overview and lots of configurability.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot mowers and vacuums available, and it provides an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent precision, and the app lets users fine-tune coverage of the map, define no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush is designed to stop hair from wrapping around it. This can be an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that rotate at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system is also equipped with smart carpet detection, lifting these pads upward when they're close to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of the carpet.
The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance centre that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of maintenance-free operation, unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their bins of dust every time they have to be cleaned.
6. S10
This robot is just a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my office tidy. It can also reach into the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses a laser mapping and camera to create a 3D model of your home so that it knows what to stay clear of. It has an object/obstacle detector that will stay clear of things like dog bowls and toys (but not Poop) unlike most vacuums.
It also comes with other notable features, like the self-emptying dust bin and a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach places that other mops can't reach. You can also set up cleaning schedules in the app and set custom settings for every room in your home.
Similar to the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping that can distinguish between carpets, laminate and hardwood rugs with high-pile. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't filthy if you're trying to save time. It's a great choice for those who have a variety of flooring in your home and aren't looking to spend the extra money for Roborock. Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great choice when you're looking for a robot that can perform regular maintenance on a daily basis as well as touch-ups to messy water stains. It has a range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used for refilling water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It is surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. However, robot vacuum cleaners reviews can't remove tangled rug tassels, and its battery drains quicker than other models we tested in our tests.
With a price tag of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and a handy automation into a slick design. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming, but overall it did well. It also offers a selection of cleaning options to meet your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for carpeted rooms. It also has the capability to automatically remove and replace mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in small areas. It's fast and quiet and can maneuver tight spaces efficiently. It also does a excellent job of pulling pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has good suction power and can be configured to take pictures of every object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they won't be removed in future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and not tied to you account.
It's great at vacuuming, but not so well at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped to the bottom of the bot and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
