Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient way to quickly clean up messes. The best robot vacuums and mops in my tests come with top-quality mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.
You can also schedule cleaning tasks through an app and monitor their progress.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best robot mop and vacuum. It comes with the most recent features. This high-end model is incredibly swift and agile and can pick up dirt such as hair from pets and human hair with a near perfect accuracy in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking app interface with a mini map of your house and a few on-screen buttons to allow manual control.
The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to change the cleaning mode based on the level of dirt. It will stop and wash its mopping pad more frequently when it encounters dust, while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.
The mop roller has several other clever features, such as a dock that can be connected to your home plumbing system to wash and clean it without you having to manually refill the mop. You can also use voice commands with the built-in voice assistant using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular controls using just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for a hands free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities. It's part of a litany of combo robot vacuums with mops, but comes at a lower price than the majority of competitors.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to begin, which includes creating an account on the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done, the robot can start mopping and vacuuming with ease.
It's worth noting that the mapping process can take some time and it could take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate picture of your space. The object detection is also not perfect. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles however, it got stuck on a rug with tassels, and needed to turn to free itself. But these are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube is still a excellent choice for those who want an all-in-one cleaning companion.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubs. This results in floors being cleaned and not just cleaned. The detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that enables you to reach areas that robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
This model is nearly identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa and additional features that are smart. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home better and offer dynamic obstacle avoidance. The smart app lets you modify the settings of your choice such as scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging base after each task to clean their pads and empty their dust bins, and then place the debris in a self-sealing bag. This helps to keep the system clean and also prevents allergens from circulating. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without needing an additional charge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop model that comes with impressive features at an affordable price. It is equipped with an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets and a fantastic obstacle-avoiding. It also has a unique mopping method, which utilizes a continuous roller doused with water to pull dirt and place it in the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided steps and walked close to walls without falling. However, it did struggle with fine engrained debris and didn't always get rid of raised thresholds for rooms. Its operating noise is also high, and it could be less of a set-and-forget model than some.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with docking systems that allow it to refill its clean water, empty the dustbin and wash and dry the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors in an ongoing basis. You can control all of its functions using the Eufy app, which gives a clear overview and plenty of configurability.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best mowers and vacuums available on the market. It offers impressive results in mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with reasonable precision. The application allows users to adjust the map coverage, set up no-go zones and alter the cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it. This can be an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and can apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is also equipped with intelligent carpet detection, lifting these pads upwards when they're close to soft surfaces to avoid contaminating them with.
The docking station functions as an unmanned maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops, then refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of maintenance-free operation, unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their bins of dust every time they are emptied.
6. S10
This robot is only a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does a fantastic job of keeping my office tidy. It is also able to reach the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D-map of your home so that it knows what to stay clear of. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop it detects objects and obstructions that is able to avoid things like bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop).
It also has some outstanding standout features, including the self-emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach places that other mops can't reach. You can also alter the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.
It has the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can differentiate between carpets and laminate with high-pile rugs. It can also skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to save time. If robot vacuum reviews have a wide range of flooring in your house and don't want to invest extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a flexible robot vacuum and mop that can handle both regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes, this robot is a good option. It has a range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings through the app. It's quite quiet, and it's able to move around furniture legs and socks with ease. It's not able to pick up knotted rug tassels, and its battery drains more quickly than other models we tested in our tests.
With a price tag of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly device that packs powerful suction and a handy automation into a slick design. It didn't perform as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra, but it still did very well overall. It has a range of cleaning modes, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the incredibly powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It will even automatically remove and reattach the mop pads without causing your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great mop and robot vacuum for people who live in tiny spaces. It is very silent and fast, and it can navigate tight spaces with ease. It also does a nice job of getting pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a good amount of suction power, and it is able to take a photo of every object it comes across (i.e., chew toys, socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they don't get picked up during future cleanings. The photos are encrypted and not tied to you account.
It's great at vacuuming, but it's not so well at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across the floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
