Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly efficient, passing our tests for cleaning and taking on various floor types. Look for models that allow you to select from multiple modes, use their charging docks to automatically empty and clean up stairs.
A lot of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Look for an app that allows you to save schedules, maps and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It makes use of lidar to navigate making maps of floors and rooms.
When I tested the S1, it was able to locate the downstairs area, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was capable of driving up to walls and even across raised thresholds without any problems. However it was a bit difficult traversing the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a great job of cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on the flat side against the floor and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rug.
The docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated waters prior to each mopping session. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for around twelve cleaning sessions before needing to be empty, but it will differ based the amount you use the mop.
The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. To do this, you'll need to wash the dirty water tank occasionally to keep it from becoming clogged. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to prevent them from becoming clogged with dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a reliable option for cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with numerous unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans around furniture. The mopping feature is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor, rather than simply dragging the pad across it. Mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station when needed.

This robot combo has an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It comes with a rechargeable hand vacuum to reach those areas the robot isn't able to reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled whenever required. It has a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that easily removes all kinds of debris, including the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty robust, however it is sometimes hung up on the tiny carpets or area mats that I have in my house (which is something you can control by creating a virtual border within the application). The mopping capabilities are quite good as well, with two spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub floors, as opposed to just dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station when required. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship model of robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. vacuum bot boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush will give you a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It is equally effective on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our test's most soiled areas efficiently, while eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other messes. The sweeping performance is augmented by an additional side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart that can navigate tight spaces and negotiating the stairs without a hitch. It can easily move from one room to another without changing direction, which is a handy feature for larger homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors, and leaves a huge space between obstacles. This can lead to miss-hit spots.
The app is streamlined, intuitive interface that should be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also adjust suction power, mop setting and view 2D and 3-D maps. It is accessible via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri, allowing you to keep an eye on its progress from any location. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video supervision. You will require a stable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of picking up debris and dirt, but it can't always be able to reach every bit of dust. This is why it's important to use your regular vacuum once every week, particularly to remove dust from corners and on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your WiFI network at home and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, which includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it is cheaper because it doesn't come with mopping capabilities and comes with plastic body.
The Q5 is still one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've ever seen in this price range, despite not being able to wipe your floor. It has a suction power of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning and choose the floor type. robot vacuum cleaners reviews features an automatic water tank filling and washing system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops are also awe-inspiring, with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dust, dirt and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested to not have issues with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it could not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise because it doesn't contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested. It also has a unique method to map your home. This will allow it to enter the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums can't reach. The device also collects dust in a bigger dustbin that means you have to empty it less often. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters, which reduces the costs associated with using the device. The robot can recognize carpets, and boost suction if necessary. You can also mark off areas you want to be able to keep from using the app.
