Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more powerful. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and can take care of a variety of floors. Choose models that allow you to select between a variety of types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the top models work with smartphones. Look for an app that lets you save maps, schedules and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It uses lidar for navigation making maps of floors and rooms.
When I tested the S1 It was quick to map the downstairs area, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, along with medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even over raised thresholds without any problems. However, it had some difficulty navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rugs.
The docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated waters prior to every mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary depending on the frequency you use the mop.
The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to wash out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. However, overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially when compared to other combinations that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a great choice for your cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction and offers a number of unique features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans around furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station if needed.
This robot combo has a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are two water tanks that are automatically emptied or refilled. It also has a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that effortlessly picks up all kinds of debris, including the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also decent, but it can be stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can reduce by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good and include a pair of mops which are able to lift and scrub floors, rather than just dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also refilled at the top of the station when required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the best robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is achieved.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and small particles from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned the most soiled areas efficiently, while keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other messes. The sweeping performance of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that automatically swings out in order to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that run along baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent that can navigate small spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It can move from one room to another without having to reverse direction, which is a handy feature for homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than other models however, and tends to leave a thick distance over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
Its app has a streamlined user interface that is designed to be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleanings. You can also adjust suction power, mop settings and view 2D and 3-D maps. It can be controlled through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri which allows you to keep an eye on its progress from anywhere. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll require a reliable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of removing debris and dirt however, it's not able to reach every last particle of dust. It's important to vacuum frequently, every week. This is especially true for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mop, is made to do just that. It's simple to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves cost by removing the mopping functionality and by using a cheaper plastic body.
robot vacuum cleaner reviews is one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've ever seen at this price even though it's not able to clean your floors. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system so you don't need to empty the bin by hand each time. It comes with a smart app which allows you to schedule cleanings and choose the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling and washing system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive with 2700Pa of power to take on dust, dirt, and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested did not show issues with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it was able to not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't surprising as it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also features an innovative mapping system that helps it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums are unable to. The K10 Plus also is able to collect more dust in the bin, which means you don't have to empty it as often. It also has washable filters, which can further cut costs. The robot is also able to detect carpets and boost the suction if required. You can also mark off areas you want to be able to keep from using the app.
